Calais, Maine- Washington County Community College (WCCC) is now accepting applications for the position of Director of Athletics and Head Men's Basketball Coach. This dual-role leadership position is responsible for shaping the future of athletics at WCCC, with a particular focus on advancing the men's basketball program and ensuring a strong, student-centered athletic experience.

Reporting to the Dean of Student Services, the Director of Athletics will oversee all facets of WCCC's athletic programs and provide direct coaching leadership for the men's basketball team. Responsibilities include athletic program management, student-athlete recruitment, academic monitoring, budget oversight, and compliance with college and USCAA policies.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in a related field
At least two years of collegiate-level coaching experience
Demonstrated success in student-athlete development and recruitment
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
The ability to foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment
